Aquarius & Relating To Other Signs

Aquarius is the brilliant one of the bunch, often an enigmatic, bright and fun, they pair well with Aries, Sagittarius, Gemini and Libra. Aquarians generally do not do so well with Taurus and Scorpio, however.

Aquarius and Aries:

Again, both signs are incredibly harmonious, both appreciating independence and uniqueness. However, Aquarius’ near constant need for attention may be problematic to the at times tactless Aries, but the passion lit between the two signs is undeniable. Both enjoy lively, heated debates and this can be both a blessing and a curse.

Aquarius and Sagittarius:

Sagittarius will thrill to Aquarius’ sometimes impulsive and whimsical nature, whereas Aquarius will enjoy the deep and often twisted thoughts Sagittarius indulges in on a regular basis. Both will enjoy long talks with one another, often well into the night and both are more than willing to accept the other as is. This couple will be not only interesting, but be fairly verbose about both things they agree and disagree on.

Aquarius and Gemini:

From the outside, a Gemini Aquarius pair is amazing, brilliant and funny. Both play off of one another so well that it puts you in mind of an old Vaudeville skit. However, where this becomes an issue- is that playing off of one another can sometimes be in more serious discussions where the two do not agree. If Aquarius is tactful, this is a wonderful pairing, but if the zingers cross over into serious talks, Gemini may hold a grudge.

Aquarius and Libra:

Both can be very happy in the social spotlight, and both enjoy being involved in their community. This pairing works well as an active, very energetic couple, and find that they easily relate to eachother making communication fluid and very positive. This pairing enjoys a very strong bond, usually and has the best friend benefit of a partnership, as well.

Why They Don’t Work:

Aquarius and Taurus:

Both are stubborn and passionate in their beliefs. Both are willing to push to get things done. So what’s the problem here? Typically, they are on opposite sides of whatever issue they happen to be fighting for. If they are on the same side- Taurus will usually see something through to the end, whereas, Aquarius may get frustrated, throw up their hands and usually- this is at Taurus’ stubborn refusal to hear them out.

Aquarius and Scorpio:

Aquarius likely just will not understand Scorpio, at all. Scorpio will be initially very attracted to the idealistic Aquarian, but then, once the shine wears off annoyed by the aloofness Aquarius sometimes allows to be a personality trait. Aquarius will find the Scorpio to be a bit too intense, and may become rather intimidated by Scorpio, resulting in either a cold split or an intense break up.

Honorable Mention:

Aquarius and Leo
Both signs will be intensely drawn to one another and very likely the physical chemistry will burn like a fire in the beginning. Leo enjoys how different and intelligent Aquarius is, Aquarius will enjoy Leo’s liveliness and outgoing nature. However, as time goes on, the at times self centered nature of both signs may be this pair’s undoing.
