Cancer’s and love

Cancers work well with Taurus, Pisces, Virgo, and Scorpios, but not really so much with Aries or Libra signs. Overall, Cancer sun signs are great in relationships, very devoted and affectionate.

Cancer and Taurus:
The near fanatical devotion that Cancer sometimes expresses pleases the vast ego of a Taurus, and the constant attention and affection of a Taurus can keep a Cancer quite content. Both are incredibly involved, and very committed, but at times, the Taurean ego can cause a problem for the sensitive Cancer.

Cancer and Pisces:
This pair is all about talking and expression of feelings. Cancer is intrigued and enchanted by Piscean mystery, Pisces feels comfortable letting go for a change. Sympathetic and compassionate signs, these two work very well together, and communication is generally very deep and meaningful.

Cancer and Virgo:
Cancer and Virgo can be a bit of an iffy pair- both are a bit inclined to mood swings, but also, both are exceptionally devoted. That devotion when paired with an understanding of the keen balance between sensitive Cancer and practical Virgo can be something very strong and both will enjoy taking care of one another.

Cancer and Scorpio:
This is another one that is either extremely wonderful, or very bad. Cancer adores Scorpios affectionate and intimate ways, Scorpio, in turn is highly appreciative of the loyalty shown by Cancer. However, the relationship can be problematic as Scorpio can be a little more feel with your hands and not your heart, a complete opposite to Cancer. This is a real hit or miss, depending on the nature of the Scorpio and often, the moon sign has particular significance in this case.

Why They Don’t Work:
Cancer and Aries:
While the absolute devotion of a Cancer is never a question, the flirtatious, fun and often flighty nature of an Aries can be an incredibly frustrating thing. While initially, Cancer will revel in the passion that Aries possesses, the two don’t work out so well because the relationship will ultimately be rather one sided. Aries will bask in Cancer’s devotion, but usually be unable to return it as fully.

Cancer and Libra:
This is one of those relationships that you would think would work- Cancer is sensitive and devoted, Libra is fair and objective. However, the problem comes in where Cancer wishes to be taken care of, and Libra wants a truly balanced relationship of complete equals. It is often difficult for Libra to really wrap their brain around some of the deeper feelings Cancer is known for expressing rather liberally, and the passion in which it is expressed.

Honorable mention:
Cancer and Leo:
Cancer and Leo can work out, but it takes a great deal of balance and commitment to do so. Cancer wants to be looked after, cherished and treated right and yes, Leo is often more than happy to be that role. However, Leo can get a little bit stifled by jealous Cancer so taking care to continually validate is needed.
