Geminis work extremely well with Aries, Libra, Leo, and Aquarius, but should probably give the “let’s just be friends” speech to Virgo and Pisces. Finding love can be a tricky thing for a Gemini, as they often find themselves of two minds about most issues.

Gemini and Aries:

Geminis and Aries would work better if Gemini would be straight and to the point- Aries have very low tolerance for the word games that Gemini has been known to play. However, the two find chemistry and spark in the relationship as neither is particularly keen on ever being bored, or boring. 

Gemini and Libra:

This pairing works so well because both would prefer that a partner is a friend first, and above all things. Both love to chase new ideas, and live in the spirit of compromise. This an be a downfalling though, when it comes to decision making, as the question of “What do you want to do tonight” becomes a vast series of “I don’t know” on both sides. 

Gemini and Leo:

Both of these signs love to have a good time, and both enjoy the drama and passion of new relationships. In a good balance, this is an excellent pairing- but with an ill balance, this can be a frustrating relationship as Leo prefers things to be more or less the same and Gemini enjoys novelty. Leo’s ego may not be prepared for this in a Gemini partner.

Gemini and Aquarius:

From the outside, a Gemini Aquarius pair is amazing, brilliant and funny. Both play off of one another so well that it puts you in mind of an old Vaudeville skit. However, where this becomes an issue- is that playing off of one another can sometimes be in more serious discussions where the two do not agree. If Aquarius is tactful, this is a wonderful pairing, but if the zingers cross over into serious talks, Gemini may hold a grudge.

Why They Don’t Work:

Gemini and Virgo:

Gemini may see Virgo as something of a stick in the mud, whereas Virgo will be frequently annoyed by Gemini’s tendency to seek out the new and exciting. Virgo and Gemini both hold grudges and both take exception to being seen as “wrong” and compromise is a hard won thing for this pair.

Gemini and Pisces:

Suspicious Gemini has almost zero tolerance for being kept out of the loop and has a very difficult time dealing with the Piscean sense of privacy. Pisces can feel pushed, suffocated and hedged in by the constant appeals and often snoopy behavior of the curious Gemini, and this can lead to explosive shouting matches as the ordinarily quiet Pisces finds being accused of things intolerable. 

Honorable Mention:

Gemini and Capricorn:

While initially, Capricorn may enjoy fussing over and taking care of Gemini- Gemini gets fed up with the at times insufferable inflexibility of the Goat. However, Gemini may encourage a more clear communication on the part of Capricorn, and once that happens, this couple can be magic.
