Scorpios are the lovers of the zodiac, generally a very passionate sign, they tend to work out best with Cancer, Pisces, Capricorn, and Virgo. Not so much with Leo and Aquarius.
Scorpio and Cancer
This is another one that is either extremely wonderful, or very bad. Cancer adores Scorpios affectionate and intimate ways, Scorpio, in turn is highly appreciative of the loyalty shown by Cancer. However, the relationship can be problematic as Scorpio can be a little more feel with your hands and not your heart, a complete opposite to Cancer. This is a real hit or miss, depending on the nature of the Scorpio and often, the moon sign has particular significance in this case.
Scorpio and Pisces
Scorpio and Pisces can be much better together when Scorpio loses the trust issues and jealousy that sometimes plague this sign- if not, Pisces can be hurt alot by Scorpio’s sarcasm and sharp wit. However, when this is healed, this couple is a very passionate and moving couple that can be one of the more meaningful relationships. Pisces can often carry an innate ability to help soothe what sometimes is a tortured soul in a Scorpio.
Scorpio and Capricorn
This couple is pure magnetism, be it long term or short and will usually be significant to the Scorpio, either way. Though seemingly opposites on the surface, Scorpio is generally able to see past Capricorns reservations and resolve and Capricorn adores watching the Scorpio develop and grow in trust. Both will find the other to be intriguing and intense, and chances are good that the physical chemistry will almost be the stuff of legend.
Why They Don’t Work
Scorpio and Leo
Leo will find Scorpio to be a little too intense, a little too domineering and will often find that they are unsure of what Scorpio thinks and feels- and Leos don’t like that. Scorpio may be a bit annoyed by Leo’s need for so much attention, and ask him or herself why they are not enough for the Lion, whereas Leo will have trouble getting beneath the surface of the sometimes very deep feeling Scorpio.
Scorpio and Aquarius
Aquarius likely just will not understand Scorpio, at all. Scorpio will be initially very attracted to the idealistic Aquarian, but then, once the shine wears off annoyed by the aloofness Aquarius sometimes allows to be a personality trait. Aquarius will find the Scorpio to be a bit too intense, and may become rather intimidated by Scorpio, resulting in either a cold split or an intense break up.
Honorable Mention
Scorpio and Scorpio
This one is mentioned purely for the lust factor. This heady romance is intense, fiery and passionate and the duo may be a mutually possessive one. The problem arises because both are so intense that a very impetuous marriage may result, or a deeper commitment than either is truly ready for, and then end just as passionately as everything else Scorpio does.

So I have been seeing this leo for about 5 months. I feel really good about him and he was very special to me. I have only been in 1 relationship prior to seeing this leo and things did not go very well in my first relationship. So our relationship was the first real one I had. Basically, I was sort of guarding my heart. I was falling for him hard and I was scared because I never felt this way about anyone. Its a good and scary feeling, I didnt know what to do. I am a gemini. Now that I am ready to open my heart up to him, he broke up with me out of the blue! He said that we could try again after I graduate college if the feelings are still there.
