Underwear: The Gift That Keeps On Giving

An area of particular interest that does in fact deserve its very own article on giving is underwear. Giving underwear for a gift can either be terribly romantic or just plain terrible, depending on the circumstances. How do you know that things have progressed to the giving of undergarments? Good rule of thumb is, if you have not yet seen the areas to be covered by the underwear, don’t.

Underwear for Men

No matter how amusing or sexy you find them- banana hammocks and thongs need to wait until you have been intimate for a while, ladies. If you are thinking about buying the man in your life some underwear, there are a few things to notice before you do so. First of all- does the man in your life seem to prefer a certain style, or cut? If so, gifting in the same fashion is most definitely appropriate. Have you been together for some time and would just like to see him in something a bit different? You may want to broach the subject a few times before throwing that one at him. While you might find that sparkly thong a treat- he may not be all that flattered by it.

Also, the great thing about the gift of underwear for men? You get to buy yourself some special treats. Typically, when it comes right down to it, we asked men if they’d rather their sweeties bought underwear for them to WEAR, or for them to LOOK at- and the hands down winner was look at. So, hit the boutique and buy something special for yourself. He’ll likely appreciate that so much more.

Underwear for Women

Guys, this is one area where we find that you fall short sometimes. The best way to begin your journey into ladies undergarments is actually to avoid the bra and panties alltogether first. Silky bathrobes and matching slippers are a very romantic first gift when looking into underwear. We know you’re looking to gift us with things that you’d enjoy, too. So, be careful about presentation. That absolutely hot silk thong with matching bra? Box it up, wrap it carefully and present it with a single rose. Again, very important- if we haven’t shown you the style of underwear we wear, yet? Don’t go there. 

Starting off with robes and nighties is always best, and yes, holding off on the leather dominatrix outfit with matching whip is probably advisable. 

Another thing- thongs and g strings are not nearly as comfortable as you may think. They are almost entirely for looks. This isn’t to say we’d like a pair of granny panties, but consider what you say with your gift. Pairing a thong with a sexy nightgown? Great idea to offset the butt floss. 
 

Buying underwear for one another is fun, there is no doubt about that. Well timed and well presented, the gift of underwear really is the gift that keeps on giving.
